The Story
A very rare and exceptional grand complication gentleman's Cartier watch. From the Cartier fine watchmaking collection, the Tortue Multi Timezone watch. With it's ground breaking XXL 18ct pink gold tortoise-inspired case, It is held on a genuine brown alligator strap with 18ct pink gold folding clasp. The watch is fitted with a mechanical self-winding manufature 9914 MC movement. Multiple time zone functions showing a cities disc which also takes in to account summer and winter time changes aswell as night and day indication in reference time. The dial is white galvanized with silvered openwork guilloche sunburst effect, with transferred roman numerals and blued ocean. The hands are blued steel and the watch is fitted with a sapphire crystal glass and caseback.
The item is in unworn condition since original purchase and is currently in good working order.
