IWC Portugieser Automatic Edition "Laureus Sport"
Every year IWC designs a special commemorative model for the charity- Laureus Sport for Good Foundation. The charity is designed to show all that is good in sports and to help young people in poverty around the world. At each sale of the Laureus Limited Edition watch, IWC donate part of their profits to the foundation. Each model has an engraved caseback showing the winning drawing from children supported by the charity.
This particular very rare and important model is the Portugieser automatic 7-day watch. Designed in a stainless steel case with a solid stainless steel engraved case back. Held on a genuine blue alligator strap with matching stainless steel folding clasp. The timepiece is fitted with the highly complicated manufacture calibre 52010 mechanical self-winding movement with hours, minutes, small hacking seconds, power reserve indicator and date in aperture. For the Laureus watches, as always, the dial is blue with applied steel Arabic numerals. Finished with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass. Limited edition to 1000 pieces.
The item is in unworn condition since original purchase and is currently in good working order.
The watch has never been serviced or polished.
