IWC Portugieser Tourbillon Mystère Retrograde

The Story

As the story goes a Portuguese sailor came to IWC asking whether they could make a pocket watch that could fit on the wrist. The Portugieser was born. Many years on the range has evolved in to many different designs. 

The range has become synonymous with class and elegance, which paved the way for oversized watch designs and trends. This exquisite example was launched after the success of the more traditional Portuguese chronograph and based on the same design as the automatic 7 day power reserve model. 
The Limited Edition Portugieser Tourbillon Mystere Retrograde watch. Limited to 500 pieces worldwide it is made in all 18ct 5N gold case with a sapphire crystal glass exhibition case back. Held on a brown alligator strap with matching 18ct 5N gold folding clasp. Fitted with a highly complicated and decorated IWC calibre 51900 mechanical self-winding movement with hours, minutes, tourbillon escapement, retrograde date and power reserve indicator. The dial is silver with applied rose gold numerals and aperture exposing the tourbillon escapement.  Finished with a sapphire crystal glass.

Item is unworn, but in fair condition due to storage reasons. It is in excellent working order and is in its original finish.

The watch has never been service or polished.
