The Story
IWC has a long history of making watches for pilots the world over, known for their oversized original pilots watches IWC have made many incarnations over the years. This particular model is dedicated to the Pilot and Novelist Antoine de Saint Exupery.
Made in only 500 pieces worldwide. This case of this version is stainless steel with a solid stainless steel case back. It is held on an oversized calfskin strap with a matching stainless steel folding clasp. Fitted with an IWC calibre 89361 mechanical self-winding movement with date and chronograph functions. The dial is brown with applied luminous Arabic numerals and transferred detailing. Fitted with a sapphire crystal glass.
