Known as the “Faberge” of our time, Gerald Genta was one of the most recognized watches designers of the 20th century. Still to this day his designs are worn and respected by collectors of all ages and desires. In the 1969 Genta launched his own brand and only until recently has the brand lost it’s identity. For this reason every Gerald Genta watch is unique and very rare. This particular model is the Arena Perpetual calendar. Made in a platinum case with a solid palladium bezel and held on a black calfskin strap with pin buckle. Fitted with the highly complicated and decorated manufacture caliber mechanical self-winding movement with day, date, leap year and power reserve functions. The dial is skeletonized with black and red date and power reserve disc’s and the watch is finished with a sapphire crystal glass. Part of a private collection.
