With Henri d’Origny at the healm of all things creative, the range has grown and evolved with additions of unique mechanical designs and grand complication timepieces. As with the brands Iconic Kelly and Birkin handbags, Hermes range of timepieces are made in very small qauntities and are made with the care and attention to detail they show all of manufacture products. In 1978 Herni d’Origny created the Arceau range. Bearing all the hallmarks of the virtuoso’s discerning eye, the model shows the meticulous engineered beauty of its classic design in its attention to detail. Hand crafted in the Manufacture worshop, the case reflects the history of Hemres, in the asymmetrical “stirrup” style lugs. This particular timepiece is the Arceau Cheval D’Orient Limited edition watch. One of three designs, each with a limited edition of 24 pieces. This model is number 24 of 24. The case is made of 18ct white gold and is held on a manufacture made genuine black alligator strap with matching white gold pin buckle. Fitted with a highly decorated mechanical self-winding movement, the dial is a limited edition lacquered black with colourful motif of horses in a fine artistic design. The piece is finished with a sapphire crystal glass and case back.
