In the 1930’s the brand was set a challenge to create practically the worlds first true sports watch. The idea came from the British military who were based in India, needing a watch that could stand the punishment of Polo games and being hit with a mallet. The Reverso shows its classic art deco design with its design and style. Over recent years the design has been perfected and grown in size and numerous new caliber designs and complications have been added. Some of the more unique and limited edition Reverso also utilized the artisan work of the emanellers. This can be shown today in the Reverso a Eclipse watches. This particular Reverso A Eclipse is a limited edition 1/5 watches. Designed honoring some of the worlds most celebrated artists this model was dedicated to Gustav Klimt”s painting named “Danae”. The watch is held in an all 18ct pink gold rectangular swivel case, held on a genuine brown alligator strap with matching 18ct pink gold buckle. Mechanical hand wound movement.
