The first known Patek Philippe perpetual calendar wrist watch was first made in 1925. The perpetual calendar came in to regular production in 1941 with the reference 1526. Since that time, the essential gentleman’s grand complication has worn many different guises. One of the most classic designs for a Patek Philippe grand complication is the officers style case. Held on a genuine brown alligator strap with matching 18ct rose gold folding clasp. Fitted with the highly complicated and decorated Manufacture calibre 324 S QR mechanical self-winding movement with perpetual calendar, retrograde date, day, month, leap year and moon phase in apertures on dial.
