All Platinum case, held on a genuine black alligator strap with matching folding clasp, mechanically hand-wound movement with minute repeater, tourbillion escapement, retrograde date, day, month, leap year and moon phase functions, black lacquered dial with applied gold markers, finished with a sapphire crystal glass and case back.

With the business and sales knowhow of Mr Patek and the creative geneous of Mr Philippe the brand soon became a global sensation. Worn by some of histories most powerful and influencial people, Patek Philippe was known for its innovation and quality. This is shown today in their timepieces from “the realm of the extrodinary”.

Previously never offered to market, the very fine and rare, and now discontinued ref 5216P-001. Replacement of the highly sort after 5016 ref with its distinctive retrograde date. This ref was one of the more complicated movements as it incorporated the famous tourbillion escapement. Made in an all platinum case with sapphire crystal glass exhibition back, it is held on a genuine brown alligator strap with matching platinum folding clasp. Fitted with the highly complicated and decorated manufacture made calibre RTO 27 PS QR mechanical self-winding movement. Features include minute repeater, tourbillion escapement and perpetual calendar with day, month, moon phase, leap year and retrograde date apertures. Black lacquered dial with applied gold markers and finished with a sapphire crystal glass.
