Patek Philippe have been synomynous with Chronograph timepieces since their first patent of the double chronograph mechanism in 1902. Never previously offered to market and now discontinued. The reference 5959P-001. The watch holds one of Patek Philippe’s smallest and most complicated movements, making it a true classic and testament to the Manufactures abilities. This particular fine and rare model is made in an all platinum hand finished case with sapphire crystal exhibition case back. Held on a genuine black alligator strap with matching platinum buckle. Fitted with the highly complicated and decorated, ultra slim Manufacture calibre CHR 27-525 PS mechanical hand wound movement. Features include hours, minutes and split second monopusher chronograph with 60 second and 60 minute counters. Black enamel dial with transferred Breguet Arabic numerals and detailing. Finished with a sapphire crystal glass.
